idea on the history. Naturally a good inspection of the body lines, gaps and over spray can give you a good indication of the condition. The center rails broke on the convertible top frame. You can get them fixed properly or source another set of center rails. Not easy but still possible. Been there done that, I even bought a good convertible frame as a precaution and serves me as a back up, in case of need. I also keep a set of center rails in my spare parts bin. I have 2 convertibles and I just like them. Nothing beats a ride in a vert.
